Happy christmukkah

Happy Christmukkah (AKA Merry Christmas and a Happy Hanukkah)

Wishing a Merry Christmas and a Happy Hanukkah) to all who celebrate. And if you celebrate both, Happy Christmukkah!

Speaking of Christmukkah, did you know that this is only the 5th time in 114 years that Christmas and Hanukkah have fallen on the same day?

I legitimately had no idea and kind of assumed Christmukkah happened more often than that, especially since I can remember the last time it happened. I even remember a Thanksgivukkah (Thanksgiving + Hanukkah) in my lifetime.

Here are all the years that Christmas and Hanukkah have happened on the same day (according to The Jerusalem Post):

  1. 2024
  2. 2005
  3. 1959
  4. 1921
  5. 1910

Regardless of what you celebrate, may your holidays be full of warmth and cheer. (And a few good books to snuggle up with, of course.)
